Frequently asked questions
Prices, files, materials, orders, shipping and returns, on one page.
General
How is the 3D printing price calculated?
When you upload a file, the part is sliced with the real profile of the printer that would print it. The price comes from the print time and the amount of material that run measures, and the unit price falls with quantity according to how many parts actually fit on a build plate. It is not a rough volume formula.
Do I need an account to see a price?
No. Upload your file and the price appears without an account. You sign in to save the file and place an order, and nothing is charged until you place it.
Which file formats do you accept?
STL, 3MF and OBJ, up to 200 MB per file. Files without unit information are read as millimetres; if the size looks wrong you can change the unit. From CAD software (STEP, Fusion, SolidWorks and so on), export an STL or 3MF first.
Which printers and which process do you use?
FDM (fused deposition modelling), on the Bambu Lab P2S and X2D printers in our own workshop. Both have an enclosed chamber and a nozzle that reaches 300 °C, so engineering and carbon-fibre-filled filaments print alongside PLA and PETG. Your order is never handed to another workshop.
What is the largest single part you can print?
246 × 246 × 256 mm. The printers' build volume is a 256 mm cube, but 5 mm is kept clear along the edges of the bed. You can split a bigger part in your model and upload the pieces as separate files; the quote tells you straight away if a part does not fit.
Which materials and finishes do you offer?
PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU, nylon (PA) and polycarbonate (PC), plus carbon- and glass-fibre-filled versions — general-purpose, engineering, high-temperature, flexible and fibre-reinforced grades. You can have a part as printed, with supports removed, sanded, painted or clear-coated; for anything else, choose “another finish” on the quote and our team reviews it. The materials page shows which filaments are installed on our printers right now.
Can you print in several colours?
The instant price is for single-colour prints: you pick the colour from a list when you order (black, white, grey, red, blue, green and other classic colours) or leave it at “no preference”. Multi-colour jobs are priced by our team: send your file and colour notes through the custom quote form and we get back to you by email or phone.
When will my order arrive?
The quote shows an estimated delivery date: the production finish planned from our printers' real workload, plus transit time for your region. It is a plan, not a guarantee. You are never asked for a separate shipping charge: if delivery costs anything, it is shown as its own line at checkout and included in the total you pay.
I don't have a 3D model. Can I still order a print?
Yes. Upload a model you found on a model-sharing site, or use our paid Photo to 3D service to turn one photo of an object into a printable model. Our guide for people without a 3D file explains where to start.
Can you 3D print a replacement part?
Most broken or discontinued plastic parts can be reprinted with FDM, provided you have a 3D model with the right dimensions. For parts that see heat or load, choose PETG, ASA or carbon-fibre nylon rather than PLA. Whether a part is fit for its job is your call; we print exactly the file you send.
Orders, shipping and returns
Do I pay for shipping?
No. Within Türkiye shipping is included in the price; nothing beyond the total shown at checkout is charged for delivery.
Which carrier do you ship with?
Orders within Türkiye ship with Yurtiçi Kargo. When the parcel is handed over, the tracking number is emailed to you and shown on your order page.
Can I cancel my order?
While payment is pending, and within the first 2 hours after the order is accepted if production has not started, you can cancel free of charge from your order page. Any amount paid is refunded within 14 days at the latest.
What if a part arrives damaged or wrong?
Open a claim with photos from your order page within 14 days of delivery. If the claim is upheld we reprint the part or refund it, and the return shipping is free. As a consumer your statutory rights last two years.
How do I pay, and is my card safe?
Card payments are made on PayTR's secure page with 3D Secure. Your card details never reach us and are not stored.
Materials
PLA or PETG?
For decor, figures and prototypes that see no heat or knocks, PLA is enough and the most economical choice. If the part will sit in sun or warmth or take impacts, choose PETG: it is tougher and copes better with moisture. PLA softens at around 55 °C.
Which filament stands up to heat and sunlight?
ASA for sun and outdoor use; ABS, polycarbonate (PC) or heat-resistant carbon-fibre nylon (PAHT-CF) for warm environments. PLA can deform in a hot car or behind a sunny window.
When do I need a carbon-fibre filament?
When a part must be light but rigid and must not flex under load: brackets, jigs, fixtures. The fibre stiffens the part but does not strengthen the bond between layers, and it leaves a matte surface; where flexibility or impact absorption matters, plain PETG or nylon is better.
Can you print flexible parts?
Yes, in TPU: seals, bumpers, sleeves and grip surfaces. Very fine detail and tight dimensions are harder in a flexible material.
Can you print parts that touch food?
We do not verify that a part is suitable for food contact. A material's food-contact declaration is about the raw material; it does not mean a finished print is fit for that use. For a part that will touch food, that decision is yours.
Can I choose the colour?
Yes, in a single colour: pick black, white, grey, red, blue, green, yellow, orange, purple, pink, brown or beige when you order, or leave it at “no preference”. It depends on the filament in stock at production time, and if we do not have it we contact you rather than substituting. For several colours in one part, request a custom quote.
FDM printing
What is FDM 3D printing?
FDM (fused deposition modelling, also called FFF) builds a part by laying down molten plastic filament through a fine nozzle, layer by layer. It is economical, works with a wide range of materials, and is one of the most common methods for functional parts and prototypes.
How large a part can you print?
The largest part we can print in one go is shown in the “Sizes and tolerance” card on this page — the size every one of our printers can print. You can split a bigger part in the model and upload the pieces as separate files; the quote tells you up front if a part does not fit.
What does layer height mean, and which should I choose?
It is the height of each layer. A thin layer (such as the 0.12 mm fine-detail profile) gives a smoother surface and crisper detail but takes longer to print, so it costs more. For functional parts the standard profile is usually enough.
What tolerance does FDM hold?
The process's typical tolerance is shown on this page and on every quote. It is typical, not guaranteed for every part: leave clearance in fits and holes, and write to us before ordering if you have critical dimensions.
Which printers are the parts made on?
On the Bambu Lab P2S and X2D printers in our own workshop. Both have an enclosed chamber and a 300 °C nozzle, so engineering and carbon-fibre filaments print alongside PLA and PETG. Your order is never passed to another workshop.
Photo to 3D
How is a 3D model made from a photo?
AI builds a 3D shape from the single photo you upload, and we make it printable: one solid body, holes closed, a flat base. The shape follows the photo closely but it is an interpretation, especially on the sides the camera could not see.
How much does photo to 3D cost?
The fee is a fixed US-dollar amount per model, VAT included, charged in Turkish lira at the day's exchange rate (the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (TCMB) selling rate first) — this page shows the current lira amount and the rate used. It is charged once per model and refunded automatically if the generation fails. Printing is priced separately and instantly for the size you choose.
What kind of photo should I upload?
One object, a plain background and good light. Keep the whole object in frame, seen slightly from above. Busy backgrounds, hard shadows and cropped edges spoil the result.
Will the figure be printed in colour?
The preview shows the photo's colours, but the print is single-colour, in the material and colour you choose. If you want several colours, request a custom quote.
Can I upload any photo?
Only upload photos you have the right to use. We do not reproduce protected designs or people who have not consented.
Can I make a spare part from a photo?
Not where dimensions matter: a model generated from a photo is an interpretation, not a measurement. A replacement part needs a 3D file drawn from measurements.
How long does it take?
Usually a few minutes after payment. You can close the page — we e-mail you when the model is ready, and it waits in My models.
What happens if the generation fails?
You are refunded in full, automatically, to the card you paid with, and we e-mail you to say so. You never pay for a model you did not receive.
Which photo formats are accepted?
JPG, PNG or WEBP, up to 15 MB, at least 256 pixels on each side. iPhone photos are converted automatically when you pick them. Location and camera data are removed before the photo is stored.
Is it available outside Türkiye?
Not yet. The licence of the AI model we use excludes some regions, so for now the service is offered to accounts registered in Türkiye only.
